Electronic Ticket at Legal Glossary

What is it? An airline ticket in the form of a computer entry. An electronic ticket, or e-ticket, is supposed to function like an actual paper ticket by reserving you a space on a flight; all you need to do is give an identification number and show an ID at the airport. But you should also bring the written receipt sent by the airline in the event the airlines computer system has crashed or the airline has lost your reservation.
